Entrepreneurs and business owners aged 21–70 with operational businesses are eligible to apply. Grants are awarded based on specific eligibility criteria and are available for enterprises in key sectors

Eligibility Criteria for Grant Applicants
Heritage Fund welcomes applications from both startups and established businesses. To qualify for grant support, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Business Stage • Startups: Must have a clearly defined business plan or prototype and be within the first 24 months of operations. • Existing Businesses: Must be operational for at least 1 year with documented performance (e.g., financial statements or annual reports
2. Legal Status • The business must be legally registered in its country of operation, with valid licenses or incorporation documents.
3. Ownership & Management • Open to individual entrepreneurs or teams. Majority ownership must be held by applicants aged 21–70
4. Location • Businesses can be based globally but must operate within or serve communities in Heritage Fund’s priority regions.
5. Sector Focus • The business must operate in or support one of the following sectors: Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, ICT, Tourism, or Manufacturing.
6. Financial Responsibility • Must demonstrate responsible financial management, including accurate record-keeping and a clear plan for the use of grant funds.
7. Impact Potential • Applicants must show how the business will contribute to economic development, job creation, innovation, or sustainability.
8. Compliance • The business must comply with local regulations, labor laws, and environmental standards.
9. Use of Funds • Grant funding must be used for business-related growth activities, such as equipment purchase, hiring, R&D, market expansion, or technology integration.
10. Administrative Fee • A non-refundable administrative fee of $300 is required upon application submission. • This fee supports the secure management of applicant data, technology infrastructure, due diligence processing, fraud prevention, and the ongoing maintenance of the grant application platform.
